Everage, Fay V., 97 of West Carrollton passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 8, 2024 surrounded by family and love. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Polly Stone and Vernon Graham, her brother Hansford Graham and her husband of 56 years, Reece Everage. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kay Cox; granddaughter Tera Rae Cox of Seminole, Fl; Kyle Joseph “Joe” Cox (Rachel), of Denver CO, and three great grandchildren, Maeve, Kellen and Brynn Cox; her sister Ella Lawson, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great niece and nephews and many friends.

 Fay was born in Norton VA. and moved to Kentucky at an early age. She graduated from Carr Creek High School and after attending college, was a teacher for several years in Sassafras Ky. before moving to Ohio. She retired from McCalls (Dayton Press) in 1982 after 30 years, being one of the last to leave, before they closed their doors. Fay loved to travel, taking many trips with family and friends to Washington D.C., Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, California, New Orleans, Florida, Georgia, Mexico, and many other adventures. She loved visiting with her grandkids and great grandkids each being so special to her. Fay enjoyed sewing, cooking, the daily crossword puzzle and watching Jeopardy.  She always made sure food was ready for anyone who visited.  

 The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants at Kettering Grandview Hospital and VITAS Healthcare for their compassion and commitment to caring for Fay and her family. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Fay on Wednesday May 15 at Routsong Funeral Home in Centerville from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by Funeral Services at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.  In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Fay to a charity of your choice. Fay will be forever missed, but always loved and remembered by those who knew her. Please join us in honoring Fay by sharing your most loved memories at www.routsong.com.
