Flavia Goodman

GOODMAN, Flavia age 82, of Centerville went home to be with her Lord Saturday, February 7, 2009 at St. Leonard's Senior Living Center. She was a charter member of Parkview Nazarene Church in Kettering and a former teacher at Dayton Christian Schools. Flavia was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Getter and 3 brothers, Jesse, Albert and Harvey Benbow Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ralph Goodman; 2 sisters, Ruth Apple of Mt. Home, AR and Hazel Schumann of Las Vegas, NV; 3 daughters, Susan Bramel, Karen (Rick) Stein, Little Rock, AR, Sylvia Goodman of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Ralph (Linda) Goodman of Cincinnati; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Justice officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering prior to the service.
