Georgianna Frizell, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on May 12th, 2025, at the age of 102. Born on June 26, 1922, Georgianna (affectionately known as “Georgie”) was cherished by all, known for having a joyful laugh, deep bond with her family, and a beautiful heart for children. She dedicated her life to her loving family, enjoyed selling Avon for 50 years, had a deep connection to many of her customers, and was a devoted member of Ohmer Park United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Charity Circle.
Georgianna was a loving mother to her three children: James Frizell, Jeaninne Chaffin, and Paul Frizell; and grandmother to her four grandchildren, Chele, Mathieu, Christina, and Jason (Sandi), who were her world.
Georgianna leaves behind a legacy of love and happiness. She is survived by her daughter, Jeaninne (Casey) Chaffin, her grandchildren, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Frizell, and their sons James and Paul.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering (2100 E. Stroop Rd.), with funeral service to immediately follow. Georgianna will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Georgianna to the American Cancer Society.
