Gilbert H. Altherr

ALTHERR, Gilbert H. “Gil”, age 91, of Springboro, formerly of Kettering, and a resident of Ft. Meyers, FL for the past 25 years passed away Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. Gil was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Air Force as a Major. He was a graduate of Purdue University and a member of the Masons. Gil is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Altherr. He is survived by loving wife of 65 years, Martha; daughter, Linda (Dennis) Matheson of Washington Township; granddaughter, Abby (Sean) Kuhn of Springboro; and great-grandchildren, Connor, Zachary and Joshua Kuhn. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 12:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
