Harry Lee Schubert

SCHUBERT, Harry, age 72, formerly of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. Harry was born in Centerville, Ohio in 1950 to George and Helen Schubert. He was a graduate of Centerville High School in 1968 and received his BS from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Harry worked for Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio for 39 years as a microbiologist and product safety auditor, traveling all over the world as part of his job. He loved the food, people, and culture of China - his favorite place to visit was Australia. 

Harry had several cats and dogs over the years and loved them as true family members. In his retirement years, he moved to Sardinia, Ohio where he could better enjoy his love of plants, trees, and bird watching. On the weekends, you’d often find Harry visiting the local auctions. Anyone who knew Harry knew he had a big heart, deep caring for friends and family, and a quick wit. 

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Schubert, and 1 brother, George Richard (Dick) Schubert. He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Tom) Schubert; 5 nieces and 4 nephews; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and friends, as well as lifelong childhood cousin friends from the Lucas and Schubert families. 

Friends are welcome to offer condolences from 10am-12pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main Street in Centerville, Ohio, with a funeral service to follow. Private family burial will follow the service.
