Irene J. Schaefer

age 87 of Kettering, died Saturday, October 21, 2000, in Bethany Lutheran Village. Irene was a member of the Fairmont Presbyterian Church, retired from the Kettering-Oakwood Times, and a graduate of Oakwood High School. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Jr. in 1978. She is survived by 2 sons, Dr. Frank W. III, of Cincinnati; Richard W. and his wife Rheta, of Davisburg, MI; granddaughter Tamara and her husband Kerry Leach, of Centerville; cousin Doris J. Miller, of Kettering; niece, Sally and husband Robert James, of Kettering; nephew Paul A. and wife June Schaefer, of Dublin, OH. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Dr., Dayton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum.
