age 78, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. Jack graduated from Patterson Co-Op in 1946. He worked at Pennington Bakery and he also enjoyed bowling. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Helton; sister, Janet Mae Sumner. Survived by his beloved former wife, Lora Lee Helton; two daughters, Linda Lee Gantz, of West Carrollton and Vickie Lynn (Wayne) Cochran, of Kettering; constant companion, Nancy Spencer; granddaughter, Michelle (Rob) Gelpke, of Miamisburg; two grandsons, Chris Cochran, of Kettering and Steve (Lori) Cochran, of Kettering; three great-grandchildren, Chad, Wyatt, Brennan; two step-grandchildren, Joey and Diana; brother, Tom Finn; several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. Phillip P. DeLorme officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
