Jack David Schlemmer

SCHLEMMER, Jack D., age 84 of Kettering, answered roll call in Heaven on Sunday, January 11, 2009 after a brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Lois, daughter Caryl, son John and daughter-in-law Merrilee, beloved grandchildren Jonathan, Jack, and Lena, sister Janet Fissell, sister-in-law Mary Schlemmer, and a host of nephews, nieces, great friends and neighbors. Jack adamantly requested no funeral and no memorial service. He wanted to be remembered at his happiest. We picture him now with his brother Bob, lobbing a baseball back and forth between the clouds. In lieu of flowers Jack requested donations be made in his memory to Shriners Hospital Lexington, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
