Jack Drew Teemer III

April 8, 2008 — February 7, 2026

Oakwood

Teemer III, Jack Drew, age 17, of Oakwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Jack was a senior at Oakwood High School and also attended Fairmont High School’s automotive program. He leaves behind an enormous circle of family and friends who will love and cherish him forever.

Jack had a tender heart and a quiet strength. He was known for his kindness, loyalty, and the genuine care he showed to those around him. A hard worker by nature, he took pride in working with his Dad on many of his construction jobsites and spent many hours every August in his Mom’s classroom unpacking boxes and helping with set up. He always gave his best effort no matter the task. Jack also had a passion for cars and mechanics. He loved learning how things worked, getting his hands dirty, and imagining what he could build or fix next. He had plans to attend Ohio Technical College in the Diesel Generator program.

Jack deeply loved his entire family. From day one, he was always looking out for and taking care of his little brother, Ben—which could be a challenging job at times. He adored his grandmothers and would do anything for them. He also had many friends who meant the world to him. Whether laughing together, working side by side, or simply spending time together, Jack was happiest when surrounded by people he cared about.

He played many sports over the years, including basketball, football, baseball, and lacrosse. Lacrosse was his true passion, and he was a tough competitor. When he wasn’t playing lacrosse or working on cars, he could often be found outdoors fishing, enjoying nature, or spending time with his dogs, Duke, Sadie, and Annie.

Though his life was cut far too short, Jack made a lasting impact through his compassion, work ethic, and love for life. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile, and the way he made others feel seen and valued. He will be forever cherished by his father, Jonathan Teemer; his mother, Kelly Teemer; his stepmother, Erin Teemer (Jon); and his stepfather, Timothy Ippisch (Kelly). He is also deeply missed by his siblings, Ben Teemer, Cara Ippisch, Liam Ippisch, Miles Flick, Morgan Flick, and Max Flick; and his grandmothers, Joan Teemer and Maureen Pierpont; his Grammy, Kathy Norvell, grandparents Rod and Judy Ippisch, and Papaw and Mamaw Thomas and Rhonda Norvell, as well as many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack D. Teemer, Jr.

We love you and we’ll see you later, bud.
