James “Jimmy”, Jr., Anders age 55, of Springboro, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Jim was born March 26, 1970 in Newark, OH to James Anders, Sr. of Miamisburg and Lore (Rodel) Anders of Hof, Germany. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Christine Hamric (Anders). Left to cherish his memory are his son, Andrew James “A.J.” Anders, daughter-in-law, Lyndsey Anders (Ewing); grandchildren, Cooper James Anders and Adeline Jean Anders; and brother-in-law, Dan Hamric of Springboro, as well as many life-long friends.
Jim was first generation American-born. His mother immigrated to the United States from Germany when she was 17, bringing along Jim’s older sister. Shortly after she got settled with her husband, Jim was born. He attended Warren County Career Center, graduating in 1988. From there, he attended Hobart Welding Institute, where he earned numerous certifications in welding. Jim was a member of the local 190 Union as a journeyman welder. He worked for Miller Pipeline and was very passionate about his career. Jim worked alongside his son, and together they ran a welding shop out of their home.
In his spare time, Jim could be found off-roading side-by-sides with friends and family and his beloved goldendoodle, Sassy. Jim will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Family will greet friends Tuesday September 30,2025 from 4-6PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81. N. Main St., Centerville. Memorial Services will follow at 6PM at the funeral home.
