Jane Louise Johnston

JOHNSTON, Jane Louise, age 94, of Cincinnati passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Jane, a long time resident of Dayton and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, was a generous, loving and patient woman who loved sewing and traveling the world, especially throughout the South Pacific. She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy F. Silver and Jessie Hammaker; her husband, Allan Louis Johnston, Sr.; and children, Allan Louis Johnston, Jr. and Joy Silver Johnston. Jane will be missed by grandchildren, Peirce Wood Johnston (wife Melissa) and Virginia Jaye Wickham Johnston Braden; great-grandchildren Hayley Peirce Johnston, Elizabeth Jane Silver Johnston and Charlotte Joy Crook Johnston; as well as by family friend Carol Hickman. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 1:30-2:00 PM at the Woodland Mausoleum Chapel, 118 Woodland Ave, Dayton with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
