Jean Ellen Blakely

BLAKELY, Jean E. (Selby), 86, of Kettering, passed away on January 5, 2018. Born in 1931 in Indianapolis, IN, she was a 1953 graduate of Purdue University and a teacher for the Dayton and Kettering public schools. During retirement she was an active volunteer with the city of Kettering and the Board of Elections and always supported her favorite charities. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Jerry Blakely; children Scheryl Simms, Tracy Hickey, Dennis (Sharon) Blakely, and Kelly (Patti) Blakely; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4-6pm, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd Kettering, 45429. Private burial at Woodland Cemetery.
