age 50, of Oakwood, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004. Jeffrey was a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia where he received his Bachelors of Science in Education and Journalism and his Master’s degree in Journalism. He was employed as a Photojournalist with the Dayton Daily News. Prior to joining the Dayton Daily News, he was a faculty member with the University of Missouri at Columbia. Jeffrey was a member of the National Press Photographers Association and promoted YouthVote in South Africa. He was a beloved husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother and brother-in-law. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Adams. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cheri of Oakwood; son, Nathan Adams; father and stepmother, Charles (Mary) Adams of FL; 2 brothers, John Adams of FL and James Troy Adams of TX; sister, Jill Richardson, of TX and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 6, at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends, Sunday from 2-6:00 PM at the funeral home. Private burial in David’s Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the SunWatch Indian Village, 2301 W. River Rd., Dayton, OH 45418.
