KESSEL, James Joseph “Jim” age 72, of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. 

Jim was born October 15, 1953 to James Edward and Mary Ann (Doll) Kessel. He worked as an HVAC technician and proudly served his country in the Army. Jim was a kind and caring soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Family will greet friends Monday, February 16 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
