October 19, 1920 — April 9, 2007
SIMS, John H. Jr., age 86, of Dayton passed away at Hospice of Dayton Monday, April 9, 2007. John was a 60 year member of the Dayton F&AM Lodge #147 and a member of the Corinth Retirees. He served in the U. S. Air Force during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ethel, sister Sharon Schell; daughters Cynthia and Gary Plantz, Denise and Phil Martinez of Arizona; Gayle and Rob Cook of Tennessee; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Friends may call Friday, from 11-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
