John Parker "JP" Stuart

Stuart, John Parker “JP”, age 65 of Dayton passed away Friday April 12, 2024. He graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1976 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at The Ohio State University in 1980. In addition, he also received a degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. JP was a member of the Dayton Society of Interior Designers (DSID) and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir. He was a Member of Dayton Gay Men’s Chorus. John was a talented Interior Designer, singer, and beloved partner, son, brother, and uncle. He was a loving caregiver for his parents. 


Preceded in death by his husband Eric J Ross, and his parents Walter Parker Stuart Jr. and Jean Criswell Stuart. 


He is survived by his sister Dr. Ann C. Stuart and her husband Reverend Dennis Loy ; his nephews Nathan and Samuel Bevelhimer. 


His family would like to thank the Oaks of West Kettering and VITAS Healthcare for providing Skilled Nursing/ Rehabilitation and Hospice care for John. A service to celebrate JP’s life will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Wilkinson St. Dayton, Ohio 45402, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Reverend Dr. Caitlin Deyerle officiating. In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to Equitas Health (formerly AIDS Resource Center) 15 W 4th St. Dayton, Ohio 45402 or Westminster Presbyterian Church 125 N. Wilkinson St. Dayton, Ohio 45402.
