Judith A. Travillian

TRAVILLIAN, Judy A., age 82, of Kettering, OH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Judy was born on April 17, 1940 in Portsmouth, OH, to the late Leonard and Frances Fisher. Her family moved to the Dayton area when her father began his work with GM. Judy attended Stivers High School and was a part of the first graduating class from Belmont High School. She began her career working for DESC before meeting and marrying the love of her life, John Marvin Travillian. While raising their three children, John and Judy were longtime attendees at Linden Avenue Baptist Church. Throughout her life Judy was always active and loved biking, playing tennis, coaching softball, scrabbling, stamping greeting cards and belonged to the Red Hot Hatters. More importantly she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, Grammy and Great Grammy. Judy’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Judy is preceded in death by her sister, Patti Patterson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John Marvin Travillian; children, Kim Travillian, Teri (Tim) Roberts, and John (Linda) Travillian; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Judy’s caregivers, Judy Davis and Pam Rainey for the excellent loving care they provided Judy. A special thank you goes out to Judy’s Hospice team for all of their care and support.

A visitation will be held from 12-1pm, on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.
