Karel M. Toman

TOMAN, Karel, PhD., age 85 of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009. Karel received his PhD from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. He retired from Wright State University as a Professor of Geology. Karel is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jarmila (Zimmerhaklova) Toman; daughter, Blazena (Don) Malec, and their children, Lenka and Emma of Silver Spring, MD; brother, Jan (Helga) Toman and their children, Jan and Helga of Prague, Czech Republic. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Rd., #G100, Dayton, OH 45449.
