HADICK, Karol Anne, age 82, of Miami Twp., died Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and went home to the arms of Jesus. Karol was born on August 14, 1943, in Chicago, IL. In 1960, Karol met the love of her life, Russell Hadick, and the two married later that year. Together, they built a life of love and devotion to family.
Karol's greatest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ. She was an active member at Fairhaven Church. Over her years at Fairhaven and at various other churches, Karol volunteered in women's ministries and homeless ministries. She was an ardent student of the Bible and she participated and taught numerous Bible studies.
Karol and Russ together started Russ Hadick and Associates where Karol handled the office administration. Karol had a knack for the details and Russ was the salesman. Together their strengths, combined with their faith, helped them achieve much for many.
She was a constant in her family’s life, guiding them through their triumphs and travails. When she wasn’t studying the Bible, Karol enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. Karol was a kind woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russ; her son Russ Hadick; her parents Jerry and Mary Bartys; her brother Jerry (and late Renee) Bartys; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Hadick. She is survived by her son Bob and her grandchildren, Melissa, Christi, Rob, Bethany, and Nick; her great-grandchildren Camden, Jayden, Kinsley, and Kady; her brother Tony and his wife Kim and various nieces and nephews.
Family will greet friends from 10:00am-11:00am Saturday, August 15 at Fairhaven Church Schwalm Chapel, 637 E. Whipp Rd., Centerville. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am at the church. Following the service there will be a reception at Routsong Funeral Home located at 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Private burial services will take place on August 18 at 10:00am at Dayton National Cemetery. Flowers should be sent to Fairhaven Church at the address above.
