Lillian Evelyn Bennett

BENNETT, Lillian E., age 86 of Kettering, passed on the morning of July 7, 2011. Lillian was a graduate of Miami University; receiving her Bachelors in Education and taught as a 6th grade teacher in Miamisburg for 3 years. Lillian was also a volunteer at the Cox Arboretum Gift Shop and a member of the New Neighbors Bowling League. She was a long time member of Washington Heights Baptist Church. Lillian is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth; a son, Steven Bennett and wife Patricia, of West Chester, OH; a daughter, Susan Bennett of Santa Rosa, CA; a niece, Barbara (Jay) Landis of Homer, MI; and a nephew, Michael Dean of Florida. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 5:00-7:00pm at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering 45429. A Graveside service will be held at David’s Cemetery on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00am.
