Linda E. McBee

Linda E. McBee, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Linda was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and was employed for over 30 years as a legal assistant for Surdyk, Dowd & Turner Co., L.P.A.

Linda will be remembered as a great friend and animal lover. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for the cats at the animal shelter and baby blankets for her family. She was also a great gardener and a true admirer of nature. Linda was a talented artist who enjoyed rubber stamping, making hand-made cards, and cross stitch embroidery. She had an amazing sense of humor and always maintained an upbeat attitude in the face of physical adversities. She adored her family and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

Linda is proceeded in death by her father, Gerald, and two brothers, David and Steven. She is survived by her mother, Shirley; two nieces, Ashley (Thomas) Sirmons and her children Rylan, Jemma, Dakota, and Collins; and Allison McBee (Andrew Linderman); nephew, Brian McBee (Mackenzie Beatrice); numerous cousins; and her best friend, Katie Widnyer.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 13th at Dayton Memorial Park. Those who wish to attend should meet at the mausoleum next to the cemetery office.
