STEVENS, Lloyd "Bruce", Jr., age 91, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Born September 11, 1918, Bruce graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in chemical engineering and received a J.D. from John Marshall University. He retired from Monsanto Corporation where he worked as a patent attorney. Bruce was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Bruce Stevens, Sr., and Blanche Elmslie Stevens; first wife Marybelle Trotter Stevens and second wife A. Katherine Conde Stevens; sister Jean Heckman; and brother-in-law Jack Heckman. Bruce is survived by daughters Jean Ann (Robert) VanHouse and Joyce (Tony) Ballmann; grandchildren Eric VanHouse, Sharon (Mike) McCarthy, Evan and Alane Ballmann, and Patrick VanHouse; and great-grandchild Connor McCarthy. Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 from 5:00-8:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 24 at 10:00AM at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com
