Loretta M. Bauser

nee ''Quick'', age 83 of Kettering, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 1954. Loretta graduated from Oak Grove High School in Clark County in 1935 and attended business college in Springfield. She was secretary at Rolling Fields Elementary School from 1955 to 1977 and was a member of the Greene and Clark County Genealogical Societies. Preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Kathryn Quick; her husband of 56 years, Clyde ''Bud'', who died Aug. 25, 1994; and a brother, James L. Quick. Survived by a sister, Lillian McCarley of Enon, OH; 3 sons, Philip and his wife, Ruth of Little Rock, AK, James and his wife Karen of Houston, TX, and Roger and his wife Pam of Kettering; 9 grandchildren, Julie Bauser, Scott Bauser and his wife Brenda, Shari Standridge and her husband, Brian, Ann Colina and her husband Ken, Amy Ternois and her husband, Fabrice, Mike Tauser and his wife, Lisa, P.J. Bauser, Kim Bauser, and David Bauser; 7 great grandchildren; 2 special nieces, Jan McCluer and Julie LaPolt whose loving care gave her great comfort and joy; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Loretta was a devoted Mom and Grandma, a caring neighbor, gardener and traveler. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Jan. 6, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. Thomas D. Prochaska officiating. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M., Friday, Jan. 5, in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, and from 9-10:00 A.M., Saturday in the church.
