SEIFFERTH, Marcia Ann, age 91, of Washington Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Marcia was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 24, 1934, to Eldred Byron and Mabel Marie (Lees) Siler. She was a 1952 graduate of Roosevelt High School. Following graduation, Marcia worked as an administrative assistant at the Inland Division of General Motors, where she met the love of her life, Donald Wilmer Seifferth. She and Don were married on October 5, 1957, by Reverend Alfred C. Schaeffer.
In 1962, Marcia stepped away from General Motors to dedicate herself to her home and family. She was a devoted member of the Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, where she participated in the Women’s Fellowship Group and Bible studies, and spent many years preparing beautiful floral arrangements for the church altar. Marcia had a passion for decorating and, alongside Don, spent years collecting antiques.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald J. Siler. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Susan K. (Todd) Farler, and her sons, Todd A.(Lucy) Seifferth, and Brian S.(Joanne) Seifferth. The pride and joy of her life were her grandchildren: Emily Grace Wynn, Samantha (Riando) Beukes, Brandon (Rebeca) Farler, Ellie (Anthony) Rizzo, Jacob (Devon) Farler, Savannah Seifferth, Daniel Seifferth, Rachel (Zach) Collins, Eli Seifferth, Amanda Seifferth, and Jessica Seifferth, as well as two great-grandchildren, Elliott Farler and Jasper Farler.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. A celebration of her life will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will take place at David’s Cemetery.
The family expresses their deep appreciation to the staff at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to ohioshospice.org.
