Margaret Eileen Beaver

Margaret Eileen Beaver, age 91 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at Ohio Hospice of Dayton. 

Margaret was born on July 20, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a 1952 graduate of Wayne Township High School in Huber Heights. Margaret was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Dayton in 1958. She was a member of First Presbyterian of Fairborn since 1946 where she served as an Elder and volunteered in the church library. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Besides time with family, her happiest times were spent reading, gardening, flower arranging, and roaming the family farm. 

Margaret was proceeded in death by parents Marjory N (Harris) and Henry L Brown. Also, sister Carolyn Schroeder, and dear brothers-in-law Kenneth Winfield and Billy Nall. She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years Ralph Beaver; daughter Stephanie (George) Burd; son Craig (Misty) Beaver; 8 grandchildren Troy (Brandy) Rose Jr., Jennifer (Russell) Reynolds, Christopher (Jenna) Beaver, Stacey Thibodeaux, Kyle (Hannah) Soliday, Matthew (Taryn) Burd, Katelyn (Ryan) Olivier, and Bethany (Dustin) Burd; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters Marcia Winfield and Marilyn Nall; brother-in-law Richard Schroeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends its gratitude to the Hospice of Dayton staff for the compassionate care, comfort, and peaceful environment they provided in her final days.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 1130 Highview Drive, Fairborn, Ohio, with Pastor Joseph Hinds officiating.

There will be a private family burial at Woodland Cemetery on a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton Ohio 45420 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 1130 Highview Drive, Fairborn Ohio 45324.
