Margie Ellen Baker

BAKER, Margie Ellen, age 83 of Centerville, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011. Margie graduated from Scott High School in Toledo, OH and Cleveland State University. She worked as a teacher at Jupiter Elementary School in Florida, volunteered as a librarian for Ascension Church and was recognized for her thousands of volunteer hours for St. Elizabeth and St. Leonard's. Margie was a devoted Catholic who loved genealogy and presidential history. Preceded in death by her brother, Robert Waxler. Margie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Baker; son, Peter (Jennifer) Baker; daughter, Josephine (Stan) Peyton; grandchildren, Marshall and Molly Peyton; sisters, Jane Rupp and Joan Robedeau; brother, Eugene Waxler; several nieces and nephews and her many close friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 10:00AM to 12 Noon at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with a graveside service at 1:00PM at David's Cemetery.
