Marian Elaine Foster Norman

NORMAN, Marian Elaine Foster, age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Marian was born in 1934 to the late Monroe and Effie Foster and graduated from Morgantown High School and West Virginia University (BA & Masters in Education, BS in Botany).

Marian was a language arts (English, Spanish & French) teacher in Beavercreek schools prior to starting her family. She traveled and became fluent in Spanish and French in her younger years. Marian shared her love of languages, scripture and gardening with her children, and supported their educational achievements. Marian also loved to recite poetry and wrote her own poems, some of which were published.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and sisters, Lucille Pleshek and Jean Kuhn.

She is survived by her son, Stephen (Melissa); and daughters, Nanette and Lisa; grandchildren, Emily and Ella; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11AM-12PM NOON and Services beginning at 12PM on Friday, February 18 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E STROOP RD, KETTERING. Burial to immediately follow at Valley View Memorial Garden in Xenia, OH.
