MILLER, Marilou Kain, age 88, formerly of Kettering, Ohio passed away Monday, July 28, 2025. Marilou was born in Dayton and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Marilou was skilled in gardening which earned her several Kettering Neighborhood Pride awards and high praise from neighbors. She was well-known for her outstanding cooking and baking skills earning rave reviews from family and friends. She was well-loved by her grand-dogs Princess Petunia, Pippi Whitestocking, and Diesel.
Marilou was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Clyde Ronald Miller; mother, Thelma Ritter; sister, Nancy Stueve; nephews, John and Mark Stueve.
She is survived by her daughter Jill Wallace; son-in-law, Scott Wallace; grand-daughter, Courtney Wallace and partner Christopher Cassel; brother, Todd Kain; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12-1pm on Saturday, August 23rd at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main St, Centerville Ohio, with a memorial service to follow. Scattering at David’s Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the skilled nurses and caregivers at Courtyard of Centerville and to DayCity Hospice for their wonderful and extraordinary care they provided to Marilou. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DayCity Hospice.
