Marjorie Joan Tomashot

TOMASHOT, Marjorie Joan, age 89, formerly of Bluewater Bay in Niceville FL, passed away at Kingston Nursing Home of Miamisburg OH on August 13, 2017. Marjorie was born in Dayton, OH to Clarence and Laura (Hamilton) Koogler on April 21, 1928. She was a graduate of Beavercreek High School. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Tomashot, and her sister, Phyllis J. Howe. Marjorie was a fan of all sports. She enjoyed many years of playing golf. Marjorie was known for her sense of humor. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Ron (Dedra) Tomashot, Jill (Rick) Paxson, Tim (Paula) Tomashot and Bob (Lisa) Tomashot; grandchildren: Brett, Shane, Zachary, Joshua, Casey, Brittany, Torrey and Tyler; 14 great-grandchildren, and nieces Carol Perry and Cindy Hartman. The family wishes to thank the staff at Kingston of Miamisburg and Heartland Hospice for the love and care given to Marjorie. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Heartland Hospice. Private services were held by the family.
