Mark C. Steiner

STEINER, Mark C., age 64, of Xenia, OH passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was born on October 7, 1958, to the late Bradley and Jacquelyn Steiner, in Dayton, OH. Mark grew up in Xenia and graduated from Xenia High School, class of 1976. He went on to receive his B.E. in Engineering from Wright State University, and eventually earned his Professional Engineer License. While going to school he met his future wife, Theresa Hardin, where they worked together at Beaver Valley Cinemas. For the majority of Mark’s career, he worked for BWSC INC. as the leader of the mechanical engineering department for more than 25 years, before his retirement. He was a lifelong Cincinnati sports fan and could often be found cheering on the Bengals and Reds. Mark was an avid reader and loved watching and talking about his favorite movies. He studied karate for several years, eventually acquiring his black belt. Mark loved animals, especially his dogs. Most of all he was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, and brother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.     

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Theresa Steiner; children Sarah Steiner and Joseph Steiner; siblings, Stephen Steiner, Jamie Steiner, and Robert (Sheila) Steiner; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
