age 74 of Kettering, died, Sunday, March 4, 2001. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Martha was a 1946 graduate of Roosevelt High School and a member of the Montgomery County Democrat Party. Preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Shipley on June 11, 1996; a sister, Mildred Zumwald; a nephew, James Olt; a sister-in-law, Marge Zumwald; and a brother-in-law, Bill Moore. Survived by her husband, Alvin S. Lewis; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Steve Lychock of Phoenix, AZ; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Karen Lewis of Kettering; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Irvin) Olt of New Lebanon and Virginia Moore of Ft. Myers, FL; 1 brother, Joseph Zumwald of Englewood; 4 sisters-in-law, Alice Thornton of Kettering, Dorothy Sanktjhanser of Satellite Beach, FL, Ellie Schindler of Dayton and Kathryn Lewis of Tipp City; godson, Marcus Comer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Thomas D. Prochaska officiating. Burial in David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M., Wednesday in the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429-4688.
