Mary Ann Tuuri

TUURI, Mary Ann, age 66, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Mary Ann was born in Dayton, OH on February 14, 1957 to the late Gale E. and Barbara (Lewis) Garman. She graduated from Patterson Co-Op and earned an Associate degree from Fortis College. Mary Ann worked as a caregiver in home health care. Her love and kindness for others radiated in her work. Her life revolved around her kids whom she loved dearly. Mary Ann enjoyed chocolates such as Snickers and Esther Price and also would enjoy a McDonald’s Coke. She loved to take walks and work on her fitness as well as being outdoors in nature. Mary Ann loved her family immensely and was also very passionate about human rights.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Garman. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Matthew Tuuri; daughter, Lydia Tuuri; sisters, Lynn (Tim) Farney, Anita (Jeff-deceased) Wray, and Susan (Greg) Balter; many nieces and nephews; her ex-husband, Tim Tuuri: cat, Sophie; dog, Jupiter.
