Mary Vivian Adkins

ADKINS, Mary Vivian, age 91, of Columbus, formerly of Oakwood passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Vivian attended beauty school in Ashland, KY and was a hairdresser for over 35 years. She owned and operated her own hair salon by the name of Maplelawn Beauty Shop. Vivian was a Board Member of her condo association and was also a lifetime member of Far Hills Community Church where she was active in their Childcare and Sunday school programs. She was a gentle, special lady who always kept the word of God in her heart and lived her life as a Christ follower. Preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 7 sisters. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Susan Rieger, grandson Joe (Katherine Filippino) Rieger, great-grandson Walter Rieger, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 31, 2011 also at the funeral home. Burial in David�s Cemetery.
