Mildred "Millie" L. Bohlander

Bohlander, Mildred (Millie) Louise, age 89, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023.  She was born October 22, 1934; daughter of the late Ida Mae (Berger) and Ora Brush. 

She was a graduate of Stivers High School, class of 1952, and worked in the accounting department at Sterling Rubber before marrying David Bohlander on November 6, 1965.  She remained in contact with sorority sisters, childhood friends and family, and remembered other’s birthdays with gifts and cards.

She loved her family, enjoyed watching sports on TV, talking on the phone, and made a great Texas sheet cake.

Along with her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her husband, David. She is survived by son, David Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Gard; grandchildren, Jennafer (Isaiah) Larson, Anna (Josh) Parrett, and Michael Gard; great-grandchild, Gabriella Larson; step-grandson, James (Chelsea) Gard; step-great-grandchildren, Joshua Gard and Adele Middleton; sister, Janet Myers; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429.  Family and friends may visit from 9:00AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Alzheimer’s Association as Millie was a supporter for many years.
