Mona Anne Cannell

CANNELL, Mona, age 76, of Kettering passed away on 28 June 2015. Mona was a passionate square dance prompter and leader of the Kettering Historical Dancers, National and Ohio State Dance Conventions, and many other dance associations. Mona was a member of the World A`Fair Council for many years and chairperson of the USA booth. She loved to sew, crafts, sing, dance, and cook. Mona never met a stranger that didn't become her friend. Most importantly - she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Cannell (USAF Ret) in 2006; and her grandson, SGT Cody Bryan in 2011 (USA, Iraq). Mona is survived by her daughter, Raelynn (Rick) Bryan; sons, Brendan Cannell and Lt Col (USA Ret) Larry (Karen) Seman; grandchildren, Brittany (Mike) Thomas, Rachel (Chris) Spivey, Megan Bryan, Nicolas Seman; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Ian, Andrew, Tanner, and Ryder; sisters, Nancy (Bernie) Goodrich and Betty (James) Mog. A memorial service will be held on 6 July 2015 6:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home 2100 E Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
