KLEINHENZ, Nancy A., age 61, of Centerville, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born in Dayton on March 10, 1960 to the late William and Thelma (nee Jacob) Reeves. Nancy graduated from Synder high school in Fort Wayne, IN before attending Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She had a long and successful career in nursing for over 35 years, working predominantly with St. Elizabeth’s, as well as Miami Valley Hospital, in addition to several local doctor’s offices. Most recently Nancy was a clinical instructor for nursing at Miami Valley CTC before her retirement. In 1997 she met her future husband and love of her life Ken, later marrying in 2000. Throughout her career Nancy was passionate about teaching new nurses and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and uncle, Paul Reeves.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 21years, Kenneth; in-laws, Mary Ann (Norman) Olt, and Anthony (Regina) Kleinhenz; several nieces and nephews; aunt Joan Reeves; special friends, Holly (Joseph) Kenny and Christy Fetzer; and other family and friends.
Due to Covid the visitation will be limited to close family. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am on Tuesday, January 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville. Nancy will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Diabetes Dayton, at diabetesdayton.org.
