Nancy Davis

Nancy Carol (Meska) Davis, 67, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at her home.

Nancy was born March 14,1959, in Paris, Kentucky, to Norman and Lucille Meska. She graduated from Belmont High School in 1977 and worked in many different roles throughout her life. Most recently, Nancy worked as a seamstress at FJM for eight years before retiring earlier this year.

Nancy was someone who was not simply defined by her resume. She had a kind and generous heart, and she loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She often surprised them with random gifts simply because something made her think of them. If an unexpected package arrived at the door, there was a pretty good chance it came from Nancy—she loved shopping on Amazon!

Nancy was free-spirited and easygoing. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease the people she cared about. Her contagious laughter was unmistakably hers and brought joy to those around her.

Above all, she loved her family. She will be remembered not only for the gifts she gave, but for the laughter, teasing, memories, and love she leaves behind.

Nancy is survived by her children, Michelle Linke and her husband, Robert Linke, of Lake Stevens, Washington, and Joshua Davis and his wife, Erin Davis, of Kettering, Ohio; her grandchildren, Ryan, Johanna, Esmeralda, Caleb and Nathan; her sister Marilyn (Meska) Erickson and her husband Paul Erickson; her brother Robert Meska and his wife Esther Meska; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwyn “Norman” Meska and Lucille (Bridges) Meska; her niece, Leah (Wright) Groner; her nephew, Jeffery Wright; and cousins David Tipton, Stewart Trowbridge, and Gary Trowbridge.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Open House on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Miamisburg Christian Church, 1146 E Central Ave, Miamisburg, Ohio. Come as you are—something Nancy herself would have appreciated—and bring a favorite story, a laugh or a special memory to share as we celebrate a life that was uniquely hers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SICSA reflecting her love for her pet dogs.

May Nancy find eternal rest and peace in the Father’s arms, and may the laughter and love she shared continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
