Opal Marie Yowell

YOWELL, Opal M. (nee Hoberty), age 100 of St. Leonard’s in Centerville, formerly of Clark and Greene counties, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Opal graduated in 1929 from North Hampton High School and worked as a dietician at WPAFB and Cedarville schools. Opal was proud to be a volunteer at St. Leonard’s for over 15 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Neal Yowell; brothers Walter and Virgil Hoberty. Opal is survived by daughters Marie (Max) Davis of Washington Twp., and Sharlie (Stephen) Kitchen of Florida; seven grandchildren; Gary Maynard, Barbara Pencil, Larry Maynard, Yvonne Lusk, Traci Loudermilk, Stephanie Manriquez and Rhonda Cooper; seventeen great-grandchildren; and eleven great, great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marietta Hoberty of North Hampton; and many dear friends at St. Leonards. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2:00-4:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville OH. A Memorial Service will be held Monday 1:00 PM at the Bellbrook United Methodist Church , 47 East Franklyn St. Bellbrook, Ohio 45305.
