Pennington, Pamela, “Pam”, age 63 of Centerville, OH entered into heaven on May 21, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1963 to parents David and Jada Deaton.
Pam was a graduate of Fairmont West High School, class of 1981 and worked as a secretary at Wright State in the athletic department.
As a social butterfly, Pam loved meeting new people who eventually turned into friends. She was selfless and generous, always going out of her way to help others. Her generous heart even extended to animals, especially dogs.
Pam loved the simple things in life – a good rainy day, an old classic car, a page-turning book, and 70s rock music. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana.
Pam is survived by her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 45 years, Danny Pennington; her mother, Jada; children, Brittney (Matthew) Kennard and Alexander (Taylor) Pennington; grandchildren Heidi and Savannah, sister and brother-in law Denise and Ken, niece, Kalli and nephew, Kenny.
Friends and family will gather for visitation on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E. Stroop Rd) from 1-2pm with a service to follow, starting at 2pm.
The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the Hospice of Dayton staff.
