Patricia Ann Klingensmith (Wagner), age 85 of Dayton, passed away on July 30th, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1941 to parents Robert and Anne Wagner.
Patricia graduated from Julianne High School and later attended the University of Dayton. During her time at UD, she met her future husband and father of her three sons, Lawrence Klingensmith.
Patricia began her career as a Third-Grade teacher which she greatly enjoyed. She later transitioned into real estate, having a lifelong and beloved career of more than 45 years.
A woman of strong faith, Patricia was a devout member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and UD Chapel, often attending Mass daily. She also was passionate about her involvement in local organizations such as the Greater Dayton Women Republican Club.
Trish loved get togethers and parties, She hosted extravagantly and always brought a gift when attending, New restaurants were forever on her list, and a friend or family member were only a phone call away. She was an avid yogi, enjoyed taking long walks, and loved Singing in the Rain.
She is preceded by her husband Ted Fischer, who brought a glow to her like no other.
She is survived by her three sons, Douglas and his wife Tiffany Klingensmith, Daniel Klingensmith and his wife Liz Alway, and Keith Klingensmith; siblings, Bob, Joannie, Janine, and Anne; and grandchildren, Lou, Chloe, and Kendyll.
Friends and family will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 14th at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am, and Mass at 11:00am.
