Obituary

Ray Anderson, of Centerville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. A proud United States veteran, Ray dedicated much of his career to serving his country as a metallurgist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Mound facility, contributing during the Cold War era.

Known for his warm spirit and kind words for everyone he met, Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Edra; his daughters, Cathy Osterday (Craig) and Carol; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Osterday (Liu Chao), Elyse Osterday (Chris Salerno), and Eric Osterday (Christie Taggert); as well as four beloved great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation and services at Routsong Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Centerville Chapel (81 N Main St Centerville OH 45459 on Friday, May 8, 2026. Visitation starts at 10am and a service will follow at 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ray’s memory to SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center or to a charity of your choice.
