Raymond (Ray) H Wiley, age 60, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away in his home on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Ray was born in Wichita KS on July 9, 1965 to the late Bryon and Margaret (Hoffman) Wiley.

Ray was the founder and president of Hot Head Burritos. Ray founded Hot Head Burritos in 2007 after spending decades in the restaurant industry, including more than 30 years as a Subway franchisee and operator.

Throughout his career, Ray was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and his deep commitment to helping franchisees and employees achieve their dreams. He also co-founded Rapid Fired Pizza, helping grow the concept to 35 locations before its sale to an investment group in 2021. Ray was awarded a patent for an invention for the restaurant industry and looked forward to one day spending his retirement pursuing his passion for inventing full time.

He is survived by his children, Kathryn Wiley, Emiley Wiley, and Ben (Amber) Schlessiger; his brothers, Peter (Mikel) Wiley and Chris (Jen) Wiley; his sister, Peggy (Rick) Suniga; longtime friend and loving companion Kelly Gray; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved employees and franchisees.

Ray had a passion for business and loved mentoring both young and old to reach for their dreams and achieve all they were capable of becoming. He loved cars, motorcycles, and sharing his “toys” with friends and neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. For those unable to attend, Ray’s services will be livestreamed on Routsong Funeral Home’s YouTube page.

Ray will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, 27 S. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, OH 45440.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aileron Center for Entrepreneurial Education so Ray can continue helping business owners, just as he always did.
