Raymonde Fiani

FIANI, Raymonde (Monda), age 85, of Springboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Monda was born in Beni Souef, Egypt on May 31, 1935 to the late Youssef Helmi Bechara and Claire Georges Yacoub. She graduated from Notre Dame School in Cairo, Egypt. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Monda was a strong believer in family values, her priority was always putting the family first. She had a strong faith and was a long-time supporter of the church. She held the values of tolerance and forgiveness very highly. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Magdi Fiani, and is survived by her sons, Majed (a physician in Ontario Canada), Ramez Fiani (retired executive from Vantiv Corp) and his wife Roxanne Batterman, and Fadel Fiani ( Global director of solution engineering, Iron Mountain Corp); her sister, Noelle Yacoub of Delaware; grandchildren, Daniella, Michael (engineering student, Ottawa, Canada), Talia (science student, Waterloo Canada), Alexander and Andrea (engineering students at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology In Terre Haute, Indiana), and Jasmine (Incarnation Catholic Schools in Centerville, Ohio) and many nieces and nephews in Cairo and Alexandia, Egypt; Herdon, Virginia; Newark, Delaware and Fairfield, Connecticut. Mass of Christian Burial will be held NOON 12PM on Saturday, February 20 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Maronite Catholic Church, 50 Nutt Rd, Washington Township, 45458.
