Robert P. Wheeler

WHEELER, Robert P. “Rob or Robbie by some” age 43, of West Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Rob was born on August 10, 1979 to Robert and Jean (Honkavaara) Wheeler in Lansing, MI. He graduated from Archbishop Alter High School before going on to attend Clark State College, earning his associate degree in Horticulture. Rob enjoyed being outdoors and had a long career in landscaping and landscape design, working for Rindler Landscaping and several private golf courses. Rob was proud of his homestead, gardening and raising chickens. Rob could often be found on the river canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Often with his beloved dogs Honeybear and Jasmine. Rob rambled through the woods and never missed an opening day of bow season. He shared many of these outdoor experiences with his friends and brother. Rob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his infant brothers David and Daniel Wheeler, paternal grandparents, Robert and Lucille Wheeler, and maternal grandparents John and Lorraine Honkavaara.

Rob is survived by his parents, Bob and Jean Wheeler; siblings, Andrew (Kristen) Wheeler, and Lauren (TJ) Spradlin; nieces and nephews, Lucy, Margaret, Walter, Henry, and Neil; god-parents, Janet and Steve Gerebics; aunts and uncles and extended family and friends.

A memorial of life service will be held on at 11am, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Grace Lutheran Church, 410 E. Pease Ave., West Carrollton, OH 45449 with visitation starting at 10am. Presiding is Pastor Phil Hohulin. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to SICSA or Alter High School.
