Roy J. Townsend
March 26, 1928 — September 30, 2003
age 75, of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2003. He retired from Kroger Dairy. Preceded in death by his wife, Thelma in 1997, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by daughter, Patricia Harrod; 2 grandsons, Kipp (Michele) Martines, Jon Harrod; 1 granddaughter, Anna Harrod; 2 great-granddaughters, Amelia and Tabitha Martines. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, at David’s United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering with Rev. William Youngkin officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 1-3:00 PM, Sunday, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, Ohio River Valley Chapter, c/o KMC Rehab. Med. Dept. C158, 3535 Southern Blvd. Kettering, OH 45429-1298.
