Ruby C. Gatzka

GATZKA, Ruby, C., age 96, of Kettering, OH and formerly of Alpena and Ann Arbor, MI passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2008. Preceded in death by her parents; Norman and Christena (Rich) Hilts, her husband of 60 years, Harvey Gatzka in 1997, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Ruby is survived by daughter and son-in-law; Janet (Glenn) Egri of Kettering, OH, granddaughter; Veriti Overby, great-grandchildren; Nathaniel & Ashley Overby all of Kettering, sister; Margaret Love of Milan, MI and many beloved nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Ruby was a member of the Grand Lake Community Chapel and various service organizations in Presque Isle, MI. During her time in Ann Arbor, Ruby worked at Hoover Ball & Bearing, Shipman's Toy Store, and Goodyear's. We will miss her smile and loving spirit. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South 4th Ave., Ann Arbor, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, MI.
