Russell H. Beaver

BEAVER, Russell H., age 83, of Beavercreek, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001. He graduated from the University of Chicago and earned a Aero-Space Engineering degree from Penn State. He was a Boeing Aircraft Aeronautical Engineer during World War II. Russell worked as an Aero-Space Engineer with Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 25 years, retiring from Foreign Technology Division. Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary. Survived by a daughter, Patricia Stanley and her husband George of Lebanon; 2 sons, Joe Beaver and his wife Jean of Beavercreek and Grattan Beaver and his wife, Diane of Lebanon; 7 grandchildren, Jackie Beaver of Fairborn, Jennifer Beaver of Beavercreek, Amy, Amanda and Matthew Beaver of Lebanon, Karen Meece and Michael Stanley of Lebanon; and a great grandson, Jerry (Tre) Meece III. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Richard Rustad officiating. Burial at 1:00 P.M. in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek, OH. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M., Wednesday in the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the funeral home's website at www.routsong.com.
