Ruth Marie Stalvey

STALVEY, Ruth Marie, age 94, of Bellbrook, OH, formerly Gray Station, TN,  passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. Ruth was born on April 4, 1929 in Wyandotte, MI to the late Henry and Marie (Heiman) Bohm. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, MI and attended Ascension Catholic Church. She loved gardening, square dancing, and playing Bridge. Ruth was an excellent bowler, winning the 1992 State of Tennessee Senior Championship. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James; son, David; and sister, Louise Froling. Ruth is survived by daughters, Linda Kreps and Janice (Robert) Mattonelli; grandchildren, Jamie (Kevin) Bottoms, Leslie (Eddie) Moyer; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Aidan Moyer. Special thank you to the staff and nurses at Ohio Valley Hospice and Comforcare Home Health Care. Family will greet friends 10-11AM on Monday, June 5 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr, Kettering with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11AM. Ruth will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens in Boones Creek, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 6077 Far Hills Ave Suite 117, Dayton, OH 45459.
