Sandra J. Cail (nee Price)

CAIL, Sandra J. (nee Price), age 75, of Oakwood, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Sandra was a member of the Eaton High School Class of 1967.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio University as well as her master’s degree in education from Wright State University.  Sandra was a first-grade teacher at The Lutheran School of the Miami Valley for 20 years.  Sandra also taught at the North Dayton School of Discovery for 4 years and John H. Morrison Elementary School in Northridge for 2 years. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Freda and Ewing (‘Phil’) Price; and mother-in-law, Doris Short. Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, David Cail; daughter, Courtney (Ben) Price of Washington Township, Ohio; son, Adam (Tiffi) Cail of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Justin (Blair) Cail of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Callum and Emmy Price; and Ewing Cail; brother, Phillip (Karen) Price of Grayslake, Illinois; sister-in-law, Patty Gomez of Vandalia, Ohio; brother-in-law, Jim (Mary) Cail of West Alexandria, Ohio; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two special aunts: Glenna Seeley of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Barbara Price of Urbana, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, Ohio 45429. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Sandra will be laid to rest at David’s Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
