Sandra Lee Volz

VOLZ, Sandra Lee, age 85, of Dayton, OH, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born April 4, 1940, in Dayton, OH, to the late Joseph and Vera Lenore (Cool) Stormer. Sandra grew up in Dayton and graduated from Patterson Co-op high school in 1958. Following her education, she started her long career with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s office, where she made numerous friends over the years, including Mr. Lee Falke who served as county prosecutor and dear friend for many decades. In her later years she enjoyed living at 10 Wilmington Place. Sandra’s fun-loving and outrageous personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Robert “Bob” Volz; brothers, Bruce and Eugene Stormer; sister-in-law, Bonnie Stormer; nephew, Thomas Stormer; and great-nephew, T.J. Briddell.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy (Eugene) Stormer; nieces, Mindy (Eric) Briddell, Amy (Rod) Oaks, Cheri (Mike) Fantetti, Karen Riegler; great-nieces and nephew, Daniel (Izzie) Potter, Catie (Rob) Sipniewski, Qwen Oaks, Megan Briddell, Nikki (David) Cooley, and Christina Fantetti; and numerous extended family and friends.

A private burial was held at Old Union Cemetery in Ludlow Falls, OH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to SICSA. The family would like to thank Lee Falke, his kindness and guidance to the family over the years has been most appreciated.
